Edmonton Valley Zoo

We have had lots of fun at the Edmonton Valley Zoo this spring. Here are some of our favorite pictures:

Riding the wee-tiny carousel

Looking at Lucy the Elephant. Growing up around the San Diego Zoo and the San Diego Wild Animal Park, I have to say that i have never seen an elephant walking around people out of it's cage/exhibit. Lucy is the only elephant at the Edmonton zoo, and she is quite old as well. She walks around the zoo with her two handlers, and as long as you don't get too close, you can sit and watch. The girls were fascinated.

And it makes for a pretty cute picture.
