Santa

Took my gorgeous girls to see Santa today! It went better than I thought it would. For the last few days, Hailey has been saying she didn't want to see Santa...and she would not give any cookies to Santa because "They are all for Hailey". If either of the girls were going to misbehave, I was certain it would have been daughter #2. Yet even she surprised me. All it took was Santa showing her his big pile of candy canes to hand out to the good children who sat for a picture. Oh...a candy cane for Hailey? ok. I'll sit, but I won't smile.

Looking at Hannah, I see how much she has grown up in the last 5 years. My sweet little girl has learned to tolerate this 5 minute exercise every December so that Mommy can have one picture where I am not the photographer. :) She even *gasp* talked to Santa this time, letting him know what both she and Hailey wanted for Christmas.

Thank you, Hannah for the smiles. Hailey...maybe we can get a smile from you next year. :)
