The big kids went to Grandma & Grandpa's today. While I was cleaning, I found Hannah's note to the Easter Bunny taped to the wall. I had to take a picture of it. What a precious picture demonstrating her writing abilities.
Several things amaze me about this letter. First that the only word that she needed help with was "Easter". She asked Nana to help with that. The second thing is that she completely reversed the second line. After speaking with her teacher, I have learned that it is not uncommon for kinders to reverse their letters/words as they are learning. I just have to help her recognize that we always start writing on the left side, we don't snake our words across the page.
Also, look at her drawings. All of her people have striped dresses. Even "Daddy". And Hannah's hair has progressively gotten longer and longer in her pictures. And look a how the Easter Bunny has big pink ears, and has a basket that he is bringing to Hannah.
