Hazel loves her ladybugs. Loves. She is so gentle with them. When she first held a ladybug, she pinched it in her fingertips. I thought for sure the bug was a goner. But instead, Hazel just gently held it there, inspecting it, flipping it over and over in her fingertips. I decided to take a few pictures of her latest captive so I don't forget how she holds them.
I love how the little ladybug's front legs are just hanging over Hazel's thumb. It is almost like she is getting a little ladybug hug (but in reality, we all know that the poor bug is just trying to get outta there!)
