Once upon a time...there were a pair of Lady Bug Shoes. These Lady Bug shoes loved to be outside, no matter what the weather was like. Rain, shine, mud or not...they loved being able to roam beyond the confines of their house. On one particular day, they decided to take a walk. Little did they know the adventures they would have.
They walked up a steep hill...
And ran down - oh what fun!
They came across a muddy puddle...
And thought long and hard before...
JUMPING IN! They splashed...
And ran....
And splashed
And splashed some more, until they were tired of being in the muddy puddle.
So they walked, and found some gravel to play with.
And some grass
and pine cones to snack on.
They climbed on to a tree stump and did a little dance.
They cried when their mommy told them to sit on a special "Tree chair" for a picture.
They walked along a long path, and cried some more - when mommy wouldn't pick them up.
So they decided to walk the plank...(just kidding)
The Lady Bug shoes met a nice frog sitting in the woods...
And they smelled some yellow Marigolds too.
And at the end of the day, they ran along a concrete path...
Into their Daddy's open arms...Big work shoes and little Lady Bug shoes...in a loving embrace.

OMG, Carlin! that's an incredible picture story...you need a publisher to turn it into a children's book. So creative! And I love the chair tree picture. Wow! I'm inspired!
