Riding the Yellow Submarine

We took the girls on a yellow submarine today to look at some fish underwater. They were so excited (and super cute in their matching dresses!)

Nothing to see yet. Actually, the visibility wasn't great at all. We were told that the cloudiness in the water was residual sediment settling in the water from the earthquake/tsunami in Japan last month.

super cheese

loving the ride so far.

In some clearer water...looking for fish.

We were provided with some really neat little "cheat sheets" for identifying fish. The girls loved looking at the cards and then looking out the windows to try to find the right fish.

One of the submarine crew went scuba diving to find some neat ocean animals to bring closer to the sub for us to see. This guy brought up an urchin.

After our sub ride, we went to pick up Daddy at the airport. The girls were so happy to have him arrive in paradise. We went out to dinner at the hotel restaurant and then went to watch the sunset.

Family photo.

A really bad picture of me. The wind billowed my dress, and it makes me look huge. But, I don't get in front of the camera very often, so I won't complain too much.

My two Hawaii girls. They love their dresses, and they love the beach. Too bad we can't live here!!
