I finally got around to uploading the pictures off of our little Olympus camera (again). On it, I found a treasure chest full of Hannah-pictures. She is starting to take better pictures now, and I thought I would share some of them.
This first picture is of the cosmetic surgery done in my front room. Michael decided that we needed to build an arch & colums around our fireplace, put stone on the wall, build a new mantle & mount the flatscreen TV above the fireplace...before (seriously weeks before) Hailey arrived. I pushed my Dad, Michael and Michael's dad to get it done before I came home with the baby, and fore the most part, they did. It was only the stone work, mantle and TV that needed to be finished after we came home, which is fine. It was mostly the drywall dust that I was concerned about.
Anyways...enough back story. Here is the before picture...taken in 2003 after we moved in:

And here is the finished product (picture courtesy of Hannah). I will take a better picture once Christmas is over and the room is de-cluttered. :)
Hannah still loves her Cars. Especially Mack, whom she ofen fills with her other cars.

When Hailey came home, I figured I needed to creat a special space for each child. Mom was brilliant enough to make a square of 4 rubber mats for Hannah and Hailey. Just recently, I put Hannah's "Baby Hannah" picture blanket over her squares, and she loves it.
Our 8 foot tree. Daddy took Hannah to Home Depot and let her pick out the tree this year. I knew it would be too tall when he brought it home, but he said that "Hannah picked it, and how could I say no?" Good point, but you could tell her that we wouldn't be able to put a star at the top of this tree because it was too big. He had to saw almost a foot off of the bottom, and trim about 6 inches off of the top to get it to fit...barely. The top of the tree is in fact touching our ceiling. LOL.
