Feeling Corny?

Yes we are! We did something today that I have been wanting to do since moving to Edmonton...we went to the Edmonton Corn Maze (maize...whatever). I used to go to a mini-golf course back in San Diego, that had a maze that would be changed every month. Several friends and I would race through to try to get all of the numbered stamps in the fastest time. Ah, the good old days.

Anyways, it was a beautiful day, the clouds were perfect, a gentle wind, and the sun was at just the right angle that you know that fall will be here soon. What a great place to let Hannah run. She really can't get lost! Woo Hoo!

(edited to add: yes I realize there are a ton of pictures here. I'm a photo addict. What can I say. I couldn't pick just a few, so I picked most of them. Ya...there are more...but I figured you wouldn't want to see ALL of them. ehehe)

On your mark...get set...GO!
Holding on to the "map"
See Hannah Run!
Me and my shadow.
Mommy & Me.
Daddy & Me.
Reaching for Corn.

LOVE THIS PICTURE! Hair blowing in the breeze.
Awe Daddy.
Run Hannah Run!
She found a dead corn stalk, and thought it was the best thing ever.
She would chase us with it.
And then she got pouty when Daddy took it away. (Note: there were quite a few people in the maze and she kept running into them with the corn stalk).

This picture was planned, just not the airplane. Made a cool shot though.
Taking a break.
I couldn't resist.

CORN!!!
Another break.
Another great corn shot.
Whose corny child is this?
There were sunflowers everywhere.
Corny Mommy & Daughter.
Off to play "Queen of the Castle".

I'm totally going to make this an annual tradition. I can't believe I waited 5 years to do this. I can't wait until she is older and wants to race through it with me.

Carlin,
You have an amazing blog. Your favorite songs had me crying, your pictures had me laughing at the same time. So warm, fun, and heartfelt. Your daughter is so cute. What a beautiful family to visit.
