WEM Dragon

We went to see the dragon at West Edmonton Mall today. Hannah has seen him before, and didn't like him because he was too scary. But that was a while ago. We asked her if she wanted to see him, and she said yes...so off we went.

When we got there, the "before the dragon" music was playing. He only wakes up once an hour, so we were lucky that we arrived when we did or we would have had to wait. At first, she sat in the stroller, just looking at him.
He holds still as the music starts, but begins to wake up and growl as the music crescendos.
Growwwwl! Oh, and he blows smoke too.

And then, he blows fire. Real fire. You can feel the heat from this flame all the way down on the floor (He is at least 2 stories up, suspended from the ceiling).

On a busy night, you can see many a-local teen standing on the platform on the right side of this image, trying to get as close as they can to his flame.

And in a matter of 1 minute, the show is over...and my poor poor Hannah is left near tears...again. She wanted to see him. But he scared her.

Hailey slept through the whole show. LOL. Maybe someday Hannah will enjoy the dragon as much as I do. :)
